Come and join our Customer Assurance Committee

Help shape the future of Citizen

At Citizen, we believe the best decisions are made when customers are involved. That's why we're looking for passionate residents to join our Customer Assurance Committee and help ensure customer voices are heard at the highest level of our organisation.

Make a difference where It matters

The Customer Assurance Committee works directly with Citizen's Board, bringing customer experiences, views and priorities into key discussions and decisions. As a committee member, you'll play an important role in helping us improve services and shape the future of housing for thousands of customers across our communities.

Whether you're a tenant, shared owner or leaseholder with Citizen, your lived experience can help influence real change.

Why join?

By becoming a Customer Assurance Committee Member, you will:

✅ Influence decisions that affect Citizen customers

✅ Ensure customer experiences remain at the heart of our services

✅ Share your views directly with senior leaders and the Board

✅ Help improve services for current and future customers

✅ Represent the diverse communities we serve

✅ Receive remuneration of £4,750 per annum for your role

Who are we looking for?

We're keen to hear from people who:

  • Live in a Citizen home
  • Rent from Citizen, are a shared owner, or are a leaseholder with us
  • Want to use their experiences to improve services
  • Are passionate about making a positive difference in their communities
  • Can bring diverse perspectives and ideas to discussions

An understanding of housing regulations is beneficial but not essential. We're particularly interested in hearing from people who can bring their authentic customer experience and perspective

Reflecting our communities

We want our Customer Assurance Committee to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. By bringing together people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, we can make better decisions that respond to the real-life challenges our customers face every day.
