When do our focus groups happen?
Our focus groups are designed around our customers, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get involved and share your views. We can hold sessions at a range of times, including during the day or evening, and offer both in-person and online options. We always aim to provide a format and timing that works for those taking part, helping as many customers as possible to have their say and influence the services we provide.
Can I be involved with more than one group?
Yes, you can take part in as many or as little groups as you wish.
How much of my time will be taken up with participating?
The amount of time you spend getting involved is up to you and will depend on the opportunities you choose. Some groups run for up to 12 months, while others are short-term and may only involve one or two meetings. Surveys and polls usually take just a few minutes to complete, making them a great way to share your views if you have limited time but still want to help shape our services.
Is everything done via Teams?
No, not everything is carried out through Teams. We offer a mix of online, in-person and hybrid opportunities, depending on the activity and what works best for those taking part. Some activities, such as testing services or reviewing materials, can be more effective face-to-face, but we'll always work with you to find an approach that enables everyone to get involved and share their views.
How will I know If I’ve been invited to a Focus Group?
You’ll receive an email if you’ve been selected to take part in a focus group. The email will include everything you need to know, including the date, time and location of the session. If the focus group is taking place online, we’ll also send you a joining link.
To help you remember, we’ll send you a text reminder closer to the event. If you have any questions or need support to take part, just let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
I am a bit nervous, can you offer any support?
Absolutely. It's completely normal to feel nervous. We're here to listen, answer any questions, and support you every step of the way. Please don't hesitate to let us know how we can help.
Will adjustments be made to help me get involved?
Yes. We will work with you to understand your needs and make reasonable adjustments wherever possible, helping you feel comfortable, included, and able to take part fully.
