We’re reviewing our Lettings Policy and we want you to get involved.
This policy sets the rules for how we offer homes to people. It explains who can apply for a home, how we make decisions, and what we expect from customers and what our customers should expect from us .
We know that getting a home is a big step, and we want the process to be as fair, clear, and supportive as possible. That’s why we’re asking our customers to get involved.
We’d like you to take part in a short survey to share your experience and views.
🏠 Update from Our Lettings Policy Focus Group
On 29th July, we held a Lettings Policy Focus Group at St James Lane. It was a great session with a brilliant turnout!
The customers who came had all moved into one of our homes in the last year. They shared their stories and gave us helpful feedback about their journey into Citizen.
We talked through the Lettings Policy together and asked what parts they thought were most important for new customers to know. Their ideas gave us a better understanding of what works well and what could be clearer.
Letting Policy Review – Thank You for Your Feedback
Our Letting Policy Review is now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part and shared their views through the survey.
The consultation closed on Friday 8th August, and we’re now reviewing all the feedback received. Your input is incredibly valuable and will help shape the future of our Letting Policy to better reflect the needs of our communities.
We’ll be sharing updates soon on the outcomes and next steps, so please keep an eye on this page and our communication channels for more information.
If you have any further questions or would like to stay involved, feel free to get in touch.

Lettings Focus Group – First-Time Attendees Share Their Experience
We held a Lettings Policy Focus Group on July the 29th, and two customers who attended for the first time shared some lovely feedback.
One customer said: “I really enjoyed the group. It was nice to get out and meet other Citizen customers.”
Another customer told us: “I really enjoyed the focus group. I liked how things were explained about the policy, and then as a customer you had your chance to speak and give your opinion. I felt listened to.”
It’s great to hear how much our customers value being part of these sessions.
Thank you for your contribution!
