📈What You'll Do:
Voice Your Opinions: Share your thoughts on housing policies and initiatives.
Collaborate: Work with other young people and housing professionals.
Make an Impact: Help shape the future of housing in your community.
😎Who We're Looking For:
Ages 16-25: Young people who are passionate about housing.
Committed: Willing to share ideas and participate actively.
Diverse Perspectives: We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and experiences.
🚨Why Join?
Develop Skills: Gain experience in public speaking, teamwork, and leadership.
Network: Connect with professionals and other young advocates.
Be Heard: Your voice can influence real change in housing policies.
Earn some cash: you will receive a voucher for every session you attend! This evoucher can be spent at most places!

Fire safety update- Head of Fire Safety & Higher risk buildings at Citizen and Kieron McGinn from West Midland fire service
Began gathering feedback on the new panel
July 2025 – Introducing Hillz FM!
Citizen Youth panel has finished this stage
What we covered:
Follow ups from the West Midland Fire service and Fire safety teams within Citizen to help develop a link between the young people and Citizens building safety teams
Launch link up with Hillz Fm- getting the panels interest in media, music, public speaking and confidence building
Youth panel began shaping our services through having direct input into our RELETs programme. Reviewing homes ready for occupation, making sure they meet the high standards we require at Citizen

DJ workshop with the panel- with our group being live on the radio!

Looking ahead to 2026 with focus on embedding the panel within more areas of Citizen

Customer Re-lets task > Gathering feedback from our panel around the relets process, and giving real time feedback of homes ready for customers
Communications > Customer newsletter task - providing a youthful insight to the content on our customer newsletter sent out all customers through comms
