Metrostors project

🏢 Metrostors Project – We Want Your Feedback!

Citizen is currently rolling out the Metrostors project across all our buildings that have current or historic bin chutes, this includes our high‑rise blocks and a number of other multi‑storey properties.

What is the Metrostors project?

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving safety, hygiene, and overall customer experience, we are upgrading bin areas by closing old chute systems and moving to modern, cleaner, and safer Metrostors waste and recycling facilities.

These updated bin stores are designed to offer a better environment for everyone living in the block.

🌟 What are the benefits?

♻️ Better recycling options
With Metrostors, customers can now recycle more easily, helping us reduce environmental impact and keep waste areas tidy.

🔥 Reduced fire risk
Old bin chutes frequently became blocked, damaged, or misused, which created avoidable fire hazards. Metrostors significantly reduce these risks by removing chute‑related issues entirely.

🧼 A cleaner, more hygienic environment
Chutes often caused waste to spill on floors or sit in the system. Metrostors provide a cleaner, more controlled waste space that helps maintain hygiene throughout the building.

💬 We need your feedback

Every block is different, and your experiences matter. We would like to hear how the Metrostors changes are going to work for you, potential locations and input for the customer is our aim.

Your input helps us shape the best possible service for your block and for residents across the community.

We will be adding links to our interactive notice boards in due course, so please keep an eye.
